Mediation: Mr. Blank has over three decades of experience as a business trial lawyer and mediator. He understands his clients’ needs and goals, realizing that their number one goal is to WIN. He also understands that the best “wins” are accomplished quickly, cost effectively, and with finality. Chris employs strategies designed to achieve all four of these goals.
Formal litigation of disputes frequently imposes significant economic burdens on parties and often delays resolution of those disputes. Mediation provides litigants with the means to resolve their disputes more quickly, at less cost, and often without the stress and pressure of litigation. Mr. Blank became a certified mediator in the mid-1990s and serves on the Mediation Panels of the Orange County Bar Association and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Blank applies techniques developed and taught by the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University as well as hostage negotiators working for the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mr. Blank has written and spoken extensively on these techniques and on recent developments in the field of alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”). He is a Master Member of the Straus Institute/Pepperdine School of Law Inn of Court. Mr. Blank is available to serve as a neutral mediator or as an advocate in mediation proceedings.
